A solo exhibition of paintings and installations that examines material culture in contemporary life—where things replace spiritual values, and imposed beauty standards and the cult of the ideal body operate as a new faith. Using colour and line informed by monumental painting and street art, the works deploy gloss and glamour to draw the viewer into a distorted, grotesque “beauty-world,” in which a person becomes a hostage of synthetic ideals.
